7th Pay Commission: The Modi government has announced to increase dearness allowance for more than 1 crore central government employees and pensioners on September 28, 2022. On October 3, 2022, the Department of Expenditure has issued a notification regarding the order to increase Dearness Allowance through Office Memorandum. Now the government can give the gift of DA arrears to the central employees. It is believed that Diwali After that, the government can take decisions regarding the arrears of central employees.

Actually, the outstanding DA arrears of 18 months of the employees are due. DA arrears are pending between January 2020 and June 2021, which was stopped by the government due to Corona. Corona is completely over now. So the central employees hope that the government will pay their arrears soon. If this happens, then 11 percent DA arrears will be paid to the central employees in one go.

On Navratri, the government has increased the dearness allowance for central employees by 4 percent and it has been increased from 34 percent to 38 percent. This increase has been implemented from July 1, 2022 to February 2023. On which Rs 6591 crore will be spent in a year and Rs 4394.24 crore in 2022-23 from July to February.

The central government is preparing to give another gift to the central employees. The government is also considering increasing the House Rent Allowance after Dearness Allowance.
