Due to this, banks will remain closed in many cities of the country like Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Dehradun, Gangtok, Jammu, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Shimla, Srinagar. Apart from this, banks will work normally in the rest of the states of the country.

On the other hand, on October 27, 2022 i.e. on Thursday, there will be a bank holiday in many states. On October 27, many states will remain closed in Gangtok, Imphal, Kanpur, and Lucknow tomorrow on account of Bhai Dooj, Chitragupta Jayanti, Lakshmi Puja, Deepawali and Ningol Chakkuba. Apart from this, banks will continue to function normally in other places.

Let us tell you that on October 30 and 31, there will be a holiday in many states of the country due to Chhath Puja (Chhath Puja 2022). On October 30, due to Sunday, there will be a holiday in banks across the country. On the other hand, on 31 October 2022, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birthday, Surya Shashthi Dala Chhath (morning arghya), banks will remain closed in Ahmedabad, Ranchi and Patna due to Chhath Puja.
