According to CAIT, the business of Diwali festival is expected to register a business of more than 1.5 lakh crore rupees, while the use of travel and other services related to Diwali is expected to be spent more than one lakh crore rupees. Earlier, according to a recent report released by the automobile sector organization FADA, the total retail sales of automobiles during the Navratri period grew by a whopping 57%. These figures are indicating that people are doing tremendous shopping in this festive season.

According to Praveen Khandelwal, there is going to be more emphasis on the sale and purchase of Indian products in Diwali this year, due to which China has suffered a trade blow of 60 thousand crore rupees. After the Galwan Valley incident, people are now boycotting Chinese goods, which has encouraged the sale of Indian products.
