If the flow of blood is obstructed, then a stroke or brain attack occurs. This is an ischemic stroke when there is a blockage in the arteries that carry oxygen-rich blood to the brain. Blood clots form in the arteries due to which there is no effect of blood reaching the brain and ischemic stroke occurs. This clot is formed because fat accumulates in the blood vessels.
