Just before this, Punjab Kings have made a big announcement. The team has appointed former Australian player Brad Haddin as assistant coach. Along with this, former South African fast bowler Charl Langeveldt has been entrusted with the responsibility of bowling coach. Former Indian player Wasim Jaffer has become the batting coach.
Punjab Kings has appointed former Australian wicket-keeper batsman Brad Haddin as assistant coach. He has been an experienced player and his performance has been excellent. He has scored 3121 runs in 126 ODIs. During this, he has scored 2 centuries and 16 half-centuries. Haddin has also played 34 T20 International matches. In this he has scored 402 runs. Interestingly, he has also played an IPL match.
Former fast bowler Langeveldt has been made the bowling coach. Langeveldt, a former South African player, has taken 101 wickets in 73 ODIs. He has taken 16 wickets in 6 Test matches. The important thing is that he has played 7 matches in IPL. During this he has taken 13 wickets. He played his last IPL match in 2011. He played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in this match, in which he took 2 wickets.
