Budget 2023-24: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman (FM Nirmala Sitharaman) on Monday held discussions with heads of industries and experts in the infrastructure sector to prepare the Budget 2023. Many important issues have been discussed in the first pre-budget meeting, in which emphasis has been laid on the issue of infra sector and climate change. The government has also launched a monetization scheme to provide funds to infra projects. After this, on Wednesday 24 November, she will hold meetings with representatives of service sector and business organizations, experts from social sector including health, education, water and sanitation. Nirmala Sitharaman will hold a pre-budget meeting with representatives of trade unions and economists on 28 November.
