Ingredients for Ginger Halwa

  • kg ginger – 500 grams
  • Jaggery – 1 cup
  • Almonds – 1/2 cup
  • Cashew – 1/2 cup
  • Raisins – 20
  • Ghee – 2 tsp
  • Walnuts – 1/4 cup

Ginger Halwa Recipe

1. First of all, peel the ginger and cut it properly and put them in the blender and make a thick post.

2. Now add cashews, walnuts and almonds to the grinder and make a coarse mixture.

3. Now take a pan and heat the ghee.

4. When the ghee becomes hot, add ginger mixture to it and mix it well.

5. Keep stirring this mixture for about 15 minutes and fry well.

6. Now add jaggery to it and mix it well and let it melt completely.

7. After this, add raisins and ground nuts to it and cook it for about 5 minutes or till the pudding becomes thick.

8. Now the halwa is ready, garnish it with nuts and serve.
