How many account holders’ accounts will be transferred money
In March this year, the government’s Labor Ministry had announced that an interest rate of 8.1% would be offered to the account holders on EPFO. This interest has been the lowest in the last 40 years. Apart from this, EPFO has also told that this interest will be transferred to the account of more than 6 crore account holders. It is worth noting that EPFO (EPFO Account Balance Check) has more than 25 crore account holders, but only 6 crore of them regularly deposit money in the account. Along with this, the organization informed that the reason behind the delay in transferring interest this year was that the organization takes time to upgrade its software this time. Check PF balance through SMS
You can take the help of SMS to check the interest earned in your account. For this, you have to send EPFO UAN LAN message to 7738299899 from your EPFO’s registered mobile number. Here LAN means language. If you want to see the message in Hindi, then send it by typing HIN and ENG for English. You will get the balance information within a few minutes.
Check PF balance through missed call
After you register on the UAN portal, you give a missed call on 011-22901406. After this your call will be disconnected after only two rings. After this, after two to three minutes, an SMS will come on your mobile number, which will get the account information of your PF account.
Check PF balance through UMANG app
If you want, you can also check your PF balance through UMANG App. For this, you go to the app and go to the Employees Services option. After this, after selecting the option of Passbook, you enter UAN No and Password. After this, OTP will come on your registered mobile number, enter it. Now you will see the balance in a few minutes.
