Vivek Agnihotri The Kashmir Files: Vivek Agnihotri’s film ‘The Kashmir Files’ has once again come into the limelight. In the 53rd Indian International Film Festival held in Goa, this film has been called obscene and propaganda film. International Film Festival of India 2022 (IFFI 2022) was organized in Goa from 20 November. The film festival concluded on November 28, where Israeli filmmaker Nadav Lapid, who was the chief jury of the festival, said a lot about ‘The Kashmir Files’. He said that we found this film a vulgar and propaganda based film.
Now his statement on Twitter is becoming viral with great speed and people are giving their respective reactions on it. Some people are criticizing Nadav for this statement while many are taunting Vivek Agnihotri. Overall, the atmosphere of Twitter is heated.
Who is Nadav?
Criticizing Nadav’s statement, a Twitter user wrote, “Who is Nadav? What does he know about Kashmir? Do we need an Israeli to prove the relevance of ‘The Kashmir Files’?”
Opposing this statement of Nadav Lapid, another user wrote, “This shows why Kashmiri Pandits never got justice and continued to be subjected to brutality. Thanks Vivek Agnihotri for telling his story. ‘The Kashmir Files’ is a work of bravery.”
While many users are opposing Nadav Pallid, many were also seen taunting Vivek Agnihotri. One user wrote, “Vivek Agnihotri’s film ‘The Kashmir Files’, which earned money by selling the tears of Kashmiri Pandits, was declared cheap and propaganda by the jury of the International Film Festival.”
