Daniel Kwan tweeted, “After a year of busy work and travel, I finally checked a few things off my list. Completed my taxes and saw ‘RRR’. Whenever I watch an Indian action film, I feel that I am working in the wrong country.

Told RRR ‘over the top’
Daniel Kwan tweeted another and wrote, “What impressed me the most is the self-aware and self-serious film-making we are stuck with in the so many blockbuster films we are making. ‘RRR’ is made with complete honesty and is ‘over the top’. Lots of love.”
What really struck me is, while a lot of the blockbusters we’re making in the states tend to have self aware, cheeky characters trapped in self-serious filmmaking, RRR was all heart-on-its-sleeve sincerity wrapped up in the most ridiculous over the top execution. So much to love.
