India vs Australia Indore Test: India had to face defeat badly in the third match of the Test series played in Indore. Team India lost its first Test at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. Along with this, under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, India had to face defeat in the Test for the first time. The biggest reason for India’s defeat in Indore was poor batting performance. Along with this, the condition of the pitch also played an important role in India’s defeat.

India’s batting line-up got scattered like a pack of cards in the Indore Test. The veteran players of the team were also seen kneeling in front of the Australian bowlers. Opener Rohit and Shubman Gill could not give a good start to the team. Rohit was dismissed after scoring 12-12 runs in the first and second innings. Shubman got out after scoring 21 runs in the first innings and 5 runs in the second innings. Similarly, Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer also returned to the pavilion cheaply.
Dangerous bowling attack of Australia
Kangaroo team’s spin bowler Nathan Lion made the batsmen sweat. He took 3 wickets for 35 runs in the first innings. After this, he bowled even more dangerous in the second innings. Lion took 8 wickets for 64 runs in 23.3 overs. He proved to be the most fatal for the Indian team.
Pitch played an important role in India’s defeat.
The pitch at Holkar Stadium in Indore proved to be like a time for India. Here from the first day the bowlers were getting a lot of turn. This was the reason that the batting order of Team India flopped badly. No player including Rohit, Virat, Shubman and Iyer could survive. Although Pujara scored a half-century in the second innings with a lot of effort.
