Interim dividend will be received from the company
It is known that Infosys is giving interim dividend of Rs 16.50 per share to its shareholders for the financial year 2022-23 (Infosys FY 2022-23). The company has fixed the record date of interim dividend as 28 October 2022. Investors who hold Infosys shares as on record date will get interim dividend.
Akshata holds 3,89,57,096 shares of the company
Akshata, daughter of Infosys co-founder Narayan Murthy, holds 3,89,57,096 shares in the company, which is 1.07 per cent of the tech giant’s total paid-up capital. As per the declared interim dividend of Rs 16.50 per equity share, they will get a dividend of Rs 64,27,92,084 crore. Akshata Murthy married Sunak in 2009. He has Indian citizenship.
Payment will be made on November 10
It is to be known that the Board of Directors of Infosys Limited in its meeting declared interim dividend of Rs 16.50 per equity share and declared its payment date on 10th November. Investors holding shares of Infosys till October 28 will be eligible for a payment of Rs 16.50 per share.
Infosys shares rose so much in 5 years
Shares of Infosys have climbed 225 per cent in the last five years. The company’s shares were at a level of Rs 463.33 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on 3 November 2017. The company’s shares have closed at Rs 1509.40 on BSE on 28 October 2022. So far, Infosys shares have given returns of more than 158,000 per cent. The company’s shares were at the level of only 96 paise on 22 March 1996. Shares of Infosys have fallen nearly 21% so far this year.
