Now this is the only cricket ground in the world where the maximum number of spectators was present during the T20 match. Last year on May 29, the IPL final between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals was played at this ground in Ahmedabad. Gujarat Titans defeated Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets in the title match. The Gujarat team played in the Indian Premier League for the first time.
