Candidates who have passed 10+2 exam or those who have applied in 12th this year can apply for JEE Main exam. They have to fill their basic details in the form and before applying they have to register themselves with email id and phone number. Then they will fill the application form, upload the required documents, pay the fees and submit the form.

Last time around 9 lakh students had given the JEE Main exam. JEE Main 2022 first session was organized from 20 to 29 June 2022. At the same time, the second session was organized from 21 July to 30 July 2022.

Last year i.e. in the year 2022, the application fee for JEE Main exam was Rs 650 for general category. Whereas for the reserved category i.e. SC, ST, PWD and Transgender it was Rs.325.
