Recovery after falling 7 percent
Nykaa’s stock is currently trading at Rs 185 with a gain of 4.74 per cent. Earlier in the morning, the stock opened at a price of Rs 167 with a fall of 7 per cent. Wednesday’s closing price was Rs 176.72. But the buying in the stock returned and the price went to the level of Rs 189.

Why is a stock worth Rs 1060 trading at Rs 180?
On Wednesday, the stock of Nykaa closed at Rs 1060. But on Thursday, Share X is trading bonus, due to which the share price has come down from Rs 1060 to Rs 180. In fact, Nykaa has decided to give 5 shares to each of its investors as a bonus in exchange for one share. On November 11, the bonus shares will be transferred to the investors in their demat account. Investors who had 100 shares of Nykaa would have 600 shares. But let us tell you that along with giving bonus shares, the share price also decreases in the same proportion. Hence the share of Nykaa worth Rs 1060 is trading at Rs 185.

Nykaa stock is trading below its IPO price after X bonus. Nykaa’s IPO came at a price of Rs 1125 per share. If the bonus share is considered, then the IPO price comes out to be Rs 187.5 per share. That is, the stock is currently trading below its IPO price. Nykaa’s stock was listed on the stock exchange on November 10, 2021, when the stock gave bumper returns to investors investing in IPO. Nykaa’s share of Rs 1125 had reached Rs 2573. The stock has come down almost 60 percent from the upper level.
