Bajra along with wheat will also be distributed to the consumers by the department at the beginning of the early winter season. For this, the District Supply Officers of Haryana have also been informed. Now bajra will be distributed by the government to all card holders from November 1.
Earlier card holders used to get wheat
It is to be known that only wheat was distributed to the card holders at all the depots located in the state of Haryana. But this time, starting in winter, the government has decided to distribute millet keeping in mind the health of the customers. Let us tell you that millet is hot and consuming it in winter proves to be very beneficial.

Pink ration card holders will be given 18 kg wheat and 17 kg bajra from the Haryana state government. Apart from this, there is a provision to distribute 2.5 kg wheat and 2.5 kg bajra per unit to yellow and khaki ration card holders. Apart from this, under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana (PMGKY), card holders will get wheat separately for free. The distribution of ration will start from 1st November 2022 in most of the districts of the state. However, permission has already been given for this.
