Rishabh Shetty said this about the Hindi remake of Kantara, saying- ‘I am not interested…’

Kannada language film ‘Kantara’ was released on 30 September, which got a very good response from the people, after which it was dubbed and released in Hindi language on 14 October. At the same time, this film is getting a lot of love in the Hindi language too. Meanwhile, recently Rishabh Shetty has said in an interview that he is not interested in the Hindi remake of this film.

Significantly, Rishabh Shetty has appeared in the lead role in this film, along with he has also directed this film. In a conversation with ETimes, he spoke on the Hindi remake of ‘Kantara’. In this conversation, Rishabh Shetty was asked that “Kantara has been released in Hindi dub, after which there is no chance of it being a Hindi remake, but if it was made in Hindi then what do you think the character you played will be appreciated. Who would be the right one to do it?”

Responding to this question, Rishabh Shetty said, “You have to believe in the roots and culture to play such characters. There are many big actors in the Hindi film industry whom I admire, but I am not interested in remakes.”
