Sensex-Nifty made a record of touching new highs for the fourth consecutive day, closed at historical levels

Stock Market Closing On 29th November 2022: Tuesday’s trading session has been excellent for the Indian stock market. For the fourth consecutive day, the index of the Indian stock market reached record levels. The BSE Sensex rose by 383 points to touch a historic high of 62,887 points during the day’s trade, while the NSE Nifty rose by 116 points to reach a lifetime high of 18,678 points. However, before the close of the market, the Sensex-Nifty came down from its upper levels. Despite this, for the first time the Sensex closed at 62,681 with a gain of 177 points and the Nifty closed at 18618 points with a jump of 55.30 points. Both the indexes closed on these figures for the first time. 

Sector’s condition
The biggest boom in the stock market today was seen in the shares of the FMCG sector. Apart from this, the shares of banking, IT, pharma, metals, energy and consumer durables sector also shone. At the same time, selling was seen in the shares of infra, real estate auto sector. Profit-booking was also seen in mid-cap and small-cap stocks. Out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 25 stocks closed with gains while 25 stocks closed with losses. Of the 30 Sensex stocks, 15 closed with gains and 15 with losses.
