Shahrukh Khan happy on match fees of women cricketers being equal to men, wrote this special post


Shah Rukh Khan On Women Cricket Team Equal Payment: Recently, the Board of Control for Cricket in India took a historic decision in favor of women players. The board has announced that now Indian women cricket players will be paid match fees at par with male players. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah gave this information by tweeting. Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan has expressed happiness over this decision. Responding to Jai Shah’s tweet, King Khan called it a great move.

Shahrukh Khan wrote a special message for women players on Twitter, retweeting Jay Shah’s tweet. He first appreciated the move and wrote, “What a good front foot shot, the game anyway, teaches equality in many things, hope this decision will inspire others to do the same.”

Apart from Shahrukh Khan, actress Taapsee Pannu also expressed her happiness over this decision of the Cricket Board. He tweeted, “This is a huge step towards equal pay for equal work, thank you BCCI for setting an example.”

Actress Anushka Sharma also appreciated this decision of BCCI while sharing the story on Instagram.

BCCI secretary Jay Shah had made two tweets regarding match fees. He wrote in the tweet, “I am happy to announce that BCCI has taken the first step towards tackling discrimination. We are implementing wage equity policy for women cricketers. Match fees will be the same for both male and female cricketers as we enter a new era of gender equality in cricket.

He further wrote, “Women cricketers will be paid the same match fees as their fellow male players. Rs 15 lakh will be given for Test match, Rs 6 lakh for ODI and Rs 3 lakh for T20I. On this decision, the cricket fans were looking very happy on social media as well. Now King Khan of Bollywood has also joined it.
