Stock Market Closing On 6th October 2022: After the holiday of Dussehra, the day was full for the Indian stock market on Thursday. Buying of investors was seen in the market since morning. The Sensex was trading at a time of 500 and the Nifty was trading with a gain of 150 points. But the market lost its edge due to selling before the market closed. Then all the Sensex Nifty has managed to close rapidly. Mumbai Stock Exchange’s index Sensex closed 156 points higher at 58,22, while National Stock Exchange’s Nifty gained 57 points to close at 17,331 points.
Sector’s condition
In today’s trading session, except pharma, FMCG sector, shares of all sectors were up. Buying was seen in the stocks of sectors like Banking IT, Auto, Metals, Media, Energy. Small cap and mid cap stocks also rose due to buying. Of the 50 stocks of Nifty, only 26 shares rose and 23 shares closed down. Of the 30 stocks of the Sensex, 17 stocks were buying while 13 stocks closed down.

If we look at the stocks which rose today, Tata Steel 2.27 percent, Larsen 2.10 percent, HCL Tech 2.01 percent, ICICI Bank 1.98 percent, Infosys 1.76 percent, Axis Bank 1.65 percent, Sun Pharma 1.25 percent, Wipro 1.13 percent, ITC 1.11 Percentage, SBI has closed with a gain of 0.85 percent.
