T20 World Cup: Seeing Umesh and Shami in the team, the former Indian veteran raised questions

Aakash Chopra on Shami and Umesh: The T20 World Cup is going to start in Australia from next month. Indian team has been announced for this World Cup. Team India has included fast bowler Mohammed Shami as a reserve player for this World Cup. At the same time, the Indian team has to play a three-match T20 series against Australia before this World Cup. In this series, India has included Umesh Yadav in the team after Mohammed Shami became Kovid positive. After which now former India cricketer Akash Chopra has raised questions.

Questions raised about Shami and Umesh
Seeing Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav in India’s T20 World Cup 2022 plan, former India cricketer Umesh Yadav has raised questions. Aakash Chopra raised the question saying that since the last World Cup, India have played a lot of T20i games, but Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav were not involved in any one of them. At the same time, there are only four weeks left in the T20 World Cup 2022 and both have become part of the plan. Looks like something went wrong with the plans.

Umesh Yadav got a place in Team India
Umesh Yadav has been included in the team in place of Mohammed Shami, who was out of the Australia series after being found Kovid-19 positive. He has also reached Chandigarh at 7 am on Sunday. He reached the team hotel directly from the airport. The rest of the players of Team India have already reached here.

Seeing the speed with which Umesh was selected in the team instead of Shami and he has reached Chandigarh, it is being speculated that Umesh is almost certain to play in the first T20 match against Australia. If this happens then Umesh will be seen in T20I after 43 months. Before this, he last played T20I in February 2019. This match was also played against Australia.
