Global Employability University Ranking & Survey: Times Higher Education (THE) has recently published a report. In this, those top institutes of the world have been included from where companies are ready to give jobs to the students. In this ranking, only one institute from India is included in the top fifty institutes and that is IIT Delhi. IIT Delhi has got a place in the top 50 institutes in the Global University Employability Rankings. If we talk about top 200 institutes, then a total of three institutes from India have been included in this list.
Apart from IIT Delhi these institutes are included
Apart from IIT Delhi, the names of the institutes included in the top 200 ranking are Indian Institute of Technology, Bangalore and IIT Bombay. IISc Bangalore has got the second rank with 58th rank and IIT Bombay has got the third rank with 72nd rank. Compared to the year 2021, IISc Bangalore has moved up three places while IIT Bombay has moved from 97th to 72nd position.
America’s charm continues

Talking at the global level, the US continues to dominate. Four universities here are included in the top 5. Massachusetts Institute of Technology, California Institute of Technology and Harvard University occupy the top three positions respectively. There are a total of 55 American universities in the top 250, followed by 18 from France and 14 from the UK. Singapore, Japan and the UK have one institute each in the top 10.
India left these countries behind
A total of 44 countries have been included in the list. With seven institutes in the top 250, India ranks 13th in terms of number of institutes ahead of countries like Sweden, Hong Kong, Italy and Singapore.
Employers participating in this survey offered around 8,00,000 graduate jobs or placements in 2022-2023. This survey has now entered its 12th year. It includes 98,014 votes from employers around the world.
