UP Yoddhas vs Haryana Steelers: In the 70th match of Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), UP Yoddha won against Haryana Steelers by a margin of 40-34. This is the fifth victory of this season for UP, while Haryana has got the seventh defeat of the season. Manjeet performed brilliantly for Haryana, putting Super-10, but could not save his team from losing due to lack of support.
In the first half, UP got an eight point lead.
Haryana had taken the lead in the beginning of the match, but then UP made a comeback with Surender Gill’s super raid. By the end of seven minutes of play, UP had given Haryana all out and took a 10-5 lead in the match. After being all out, Haryana reduced the lead, but once again Surender came as a call for them. In Do or Die Raid, Surender increased the lead of UP by putting a super raid. By half time, UP had a lead of eight points.
Surender gave the best performance in the first half and scored eight raid points. Pradeep Narwal failed miserably and got only one point in the first half. Ashu Singh performed well in defense and took three tackle points for UP. Manjeet fought alone for Haryana and scored six raid points in the first half.
UP’s brilliant game continued in the second half as well
In the second half, Haryana made a tremendous comeback, all out in four minutes and reduced their lead to one point. With 10 minutes left, the score was level at 25-25, but in the next five minutes, UP showed a great game to all out Haryana and took a 33-26 lead. After this, the team of Haryana continued to lag behind and UP easily won the match.
