Bhediya Box Office Preview: Bhediya starring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon is all set to hit the theaters this Friday, 25 November. The impressive trailer of the film directed by Amar Kaushik has created a lot of buzz and is expected to do well at the box office. Earlier this year, Kartik Aaryan’s horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 proved to be a blockbuster.
Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon starrer ‘Bhediya’ is ready for release. The film is directed by Amar Kaushik. The film was cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification with a U/A certificate with an approved runtime of 2 hours 36 minutes, which includes a 16-minute post-credit sequence (Thumkeshwari + end credits rolls). The film is being released on around 2500 screens across the country.
Bhediya Box Office Prediction
Now all eyes are on whether Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya will be able to get a good start at the box office amid the storm going on at the box office of Drishyam 2. Based on the film’s advance bookings, till 10 am on Thursday, Bheriya has sold around 15,000 tickets across three national chains – PVR, INOX and Cinepolis – and is inching towards a final figure of around 35,000 range.
To put things in perspective, the bookings are similar to those of Raksha Bandhan (34,000), and marginally lower than those of Ram Setu (39,000) and Samrat Prithviraj (41,000). Films like Jug Jug Jio, Gangubai and Shamshera achieved bookings of 57,000, 56,000 and 46,000 respectively. The film should ideally have targeted a double digit opening day opening day and now it all depends on the spot bookings.
