First Edition of Women IPL: Get ready for women’s IPL. This Global T20 League will be played in March next year. It will mostly be called women’s IPL. Its process will start at the end of this month. This league will be given a completely different identity. The league can be called Women’s IPL, or Women’s Premier League or Women’s T20 Challenge or anything else. Now everyone is waiting for this.
These franchises showed interest
Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings are waiting for the franchise tender. While Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals franchises have shown interest in women’s IPL teams. It is believed that women will take the same franchise team in IPL which already has an IPL team. Women’s IPL will consist of five teams in which players will be drafted through e-auction. The BCCI wants to launch a tender independent of the current men’s IPL. However, the current owners of the men’s IPL franchise are free to bid.
When will the tournament be held

The women’s IPL will start from the first week of March next year. Which will end around March 23, a few days before the start of the men’s IPL. Right now this season BCCI Women will organize IPL matches in one or two cities. However, in which cities the women’s IPL matches will be held, it has not been disclosed yet. But it is believed that as the tournament expands, many cities will host it.
What is the rule of broadcasting rights
The Board of Control for Cricket in India will float a separate tender for the e-auction of the broadcast rights. The way the men’s IPL broadcast rights were sold recently. It is believed that many companies will bid for the telecast of women’s IPL matches.
